My Oh So Talented Friend

Girls,

Once again, Jennie Re-Re came through. She always makes you the most memorable crafts or treasures that I could have never thought of on my own but I should have done something to commemorate the occasion. Anyway, along with decorating, sewing and painting she is now a photographer. These are just some of the shots we got today. It was a combination of unbelievable heat, really muddy ground and some crazy bed head but she still managed to get some beautiful pictures.

Mer Mer's wedding

Bibby,
Well, I can't believe it but you were the flower girl in my Meredith's wedding. It was a surreal and sweet moment watching you walk down the isle and drop (well crumble then drop) your petals and then see Meredith come down with her dad. There you were part of her wedding party it was more than I could bear watching your angelic head with flower wreath come down the isle followed by Mer. You did such a great job and were so serious about your task at hand. You then had a blast dancing to the band and stood at the cake table for over 20 minutes waiting on them to cut the cake. The whole night was perfect, including the way Mer looked. She was truly radiant and so happy. It was such a special day for me and Meredith was so sweet to include you in it. By the way, I am not very good at transporting pictures so these are tiny but there are many more to follow.

Lemonade anyone???

Bibby,
Once again your crazy aunt MoMo literally dreamed that she had a lemonade stand for you and decided to make it a reality. So at the park yesterday she pumped you and Lillianna up with the wonderful idea of selling cookies and lemonade at our house. Once I mentioned that to your dad he was out in the backyard cutting a sawing to make you a real lemonade stand. The two of you were ADORABLE perched in your Dora chairs waiting on customers. MoMo even made you a sign board to wear to attract customers then made Caroline one as well. The cutest part was that you had no concept of making money. The first(well first non family) customer that came up handed you a dollar bill. You then said, "Do you want any money?" Lillianna then handed him four quarters and a nickel, so he was actually going to make money stopping at our stand. He graciously let you keep the change. You danced and jumped and waved and yelled, "stop" at the top of your lungs everytime a car came by. You ended up making about 15 bucks but the best part is you said as you peeked in to your change purse, "I am going to take all this cash out and just keep the money." You then removed the dollar bills you got to keep the change......innocence. What are you going to do when the Parson's move??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't bear to think about telling you and Lillianna and being without them:(

Yes, that was a Mack truck with trailer that stopped for some refreshment.

6 month stats

Virginia,

Bless your heart you were such a trouper for your shots. You had 3 and one oral vaccine. Dad always reminds me that it is much better than you getting Polio but then again, he doesn't take you to get them. Today you were 21 pounds 4 ounces and 27 1/2 inches long. Dr. Parmer said that you are getting close to being on the growth chart but still in about the 105%.....if there is such a thing. Bibby calls you little chunky monkey. I love it, you are so happy and so beautiful. This is a picture of you and Ben Strickland, another "chunky monkey."

How can it be????

Virginia,
You are 6 months old now! I honestly don't know how that is possible. I know that just yesterday I found out that you were coming and woke your dad out of a dead sleep after going to the store at midnight to tell him that I was right!!! I can truly say that you have not been one minute of trouble. You are such a little bundle of happiness. You smile continuously and it is extremely contagious. Some of your very favorite things are watching your sister and dad, sitting in my lap and bending completely backward to look at me upside-down while chuckling, a set of toy keys, your johnny-jump-up, standing in my lap facing me and rocking back and forth touching noses and being in any form of water. You have figured out how to sit up. I am really proud of the precious baby that you are. We are going for your checkup tomorrow and I have been dreading it since we scheduled it at your four month appointment.
One of Bibby's things to do right now is to tell me that she is a big girl now and you are going to grow up to! She says this and I start to fake cry. The sad thing is that she is right and I want to really cry every time she says it. All I know is that you are such a constant joy and I could not imagine my life without you. You have made the past six months some of the greatest in my life. I love you.
