Easter

Girls,
I would give anything to have bottled this weekend up. The weather was perfect we went to 2 birthday parties, one baby shower and 2 egg hunts on Saturday and as crazy as it was you two had a ball. Daddy and I were saying last night that we will never have an Easter with you two as a 4 year-old and 2year-old again and it was so precious.  I was telling you in the car that I feel like today was the type of day that our Savior went to heaven. I don't know why I just envision this beautiful Spring day and Mary looking in an empty tomb knowing that Christ would live forever. What a day that would have been. I hope that we as parents can instill in you the significance of this day. Of course the bunny also came to our house, and Gigi and Brucie's and Papa and Mammy's and Grannys........we are the proud owners of 32 chocolate bunnies and enough jelly beans to sink a ship. You have been so precious hunting eggs. Bibby I have been so proud of you..this morning you kept pointing out eggs so that Virginia could find some instead of grabbing them all up yourself.  You did however have donuts for breakfast yesterday followed by a cupcake and piece of cake at the first birthday party then two petite fors at the baby shower and you crashed and burned for a little while but have rallied on today!!! Virginia you got a prize at one of the hunts yesterday for the most eggs then found 2 of the 3 money eggs at Papa and Mammy's this afternoon. You two loved batting the eggs. When it was Daddy's turn you cheered and cheered like he had really done something spectacular. Your favorite nursery worker retired today and wrote you the sweetest note talking about what a treasure you are.....I agree. I love you girls.....

PACT day

Bibby,
Your class was asked to sing for Child Abuse Prevention Month on the courthouse steps. You all did a great job and were so excited to see each other "outside" of the classroom. Mammy, MoMo, Virginia and Caroline helped cheer you on. It was the most gorgeous day. I am having a really hard time letting go of the fact that you are leaving CWS!!! I can't believe how much you have changed in just 3 short years.
Mary Bibb, while holding the bottle of water I told her she needed to drink, "Um, Mom, Can I have something else to drink, this water doesn't taste good, I think it's getting too watered down!"
