first pigtails and such

You two little ones have my heart. I have always heard the phrase, "Having children is like having your heart go walking around outside of your body." That is so incredibly true. Everything the two of you do amazes me....and for the most part it is in a good way. Virginia, just today we were in Kroger getting a card for someone when you picked up a card that had Belle on it. You held it up to me and said, "Bib-bay." You knew that Bibby would love that card. I then asked you to hand it to me and you made an about-face and started "running" as fast as you could, squeeling the entire time with those darn squeeky shoes working overtime. You really have developed a sense of humor. Your hair has gotten long enough for pigtails! You are really in to hiding right now. You love to get in the fabric castle that Santa brought. You will sit still for a long amount of time (for a one-year-old) and then peek around and say, "boo." You also love to crawl under the desk and think that it is hilarious when I act like I can't find you. Dancing is another new passion of yours. The moves you make bring me to tears. You also copy anything your sister does (that is part of the reason why your dance moves are so funny). I love watching all of your new discoveries. Bibby, life with you is never dull. You have such an excitement for things and your imagination is in full swing. We are always having to feed some animals or pretend we are princesses. I can tell that you are really starting to develop a sense of compassion. If something is wrong or someone is hurting you really take it to heart and think about it alot. You just told me that for your birthday you want a real horse and carriage. The horsey can just stay outside and be Shelby's buddy (according to you). I won't tell Brucey about this desire! You tell me at least 10 times a day that you love me and most of the time it is completely spontaneous. Along with your sweetness is an incredibly developed dramatic side. If I tell you to go to time out I normally get a response like this, "I have to go to time out for the rest of my life and I will never get out-ever again?!" You slump your head and your shoulders and do a very dramatic walk when you are in trouble. I can't imagine where you would get stubbornness or drama from--ha! I love you two jokers. I can't believe how fast your life is going by.
