Daddy has been dying to take you out to see the "duck hole." He has spent a LOT of time out there and wanted you to know where he was going. You LOVED it. You couldn't wait to tell me how you had "skated" on the ice. After my mild heart attack and seeing how excited you were about it I decided the pictures really were cute. You saw a hawk chasing a bird and you were so animated telling me how you and Dad warned the bird with the duck call and scared the hawk. You saw deer tracks, a crane, ducks and lots of other "nature things" as you said. I don't know which one of you enjoyed the day more.....and as a little disclaimer daddy said the place where you were skating was only a foot deep.
