Virginia

How can it be that you are 3?!?!?! My sweet baby girl, you are at the all time-I want to freeze you because everything you do might be the most precious thing I have ever seen stage! We celebrated big this year. You wanted to have your party at the "Jumpy place at the mall" and so we did just that.  You were SO excited about your birthday and wanted everything princess. When the lady at the bakery asked you if you wanted a chocolate or vanilla cake you said, "both" child after my own heart. You also chose a "lovely" Barbie motiff for the top of the cake. You and Sissy are really in to playing Barbie's right now. Sissy, by the way is the only thing you call Mary Bibb these days and you came up with it completely on your own. You have some of the most adorable sayings right now. Some of my favorites are:

Instead of saying "have to" you say, "hav-er" ex: "Mom, come quick, you hav-er see this!"

Everytime you wet your pants just enough to where I have to change them...because you just don't want to stop playing you walking in the bathroom and say, "It's OK Mommy, accidents just happen!"

You love to telling how Sleeping Beauty pricked her finger on that "steering wheel."

You are still very much in to Taylor Swift and whenever you hear her song you pull the rubberband and bow out of your hair so you can swing your hair around like she does.

You have been standing with your hands on your hips a good bit which is pretty cute because you don't really have any hips and you hold your little fists higher than where they would be anyway.

You are obsessed with babies and your "pink soft-soft pillow" You have one or the other at all times.

You love to "cuddle-cuddle" especially since you got your token Christmas gift this year, a Dora snuggie.

Birth day

Your two-year-old birthday...yep, same outfit

You are such a joy to be around. I honestly miss having you as my little companion when you are in school. You say some of the sweetest things and go with the flow so easily. I take for granted that I never worry what you may do in a public setting or if you are going to pitch a fit. Don't get me wrong-if you make your mind up about something it can get pretty ugly but 99% of the time you are a happy-go-lucky little girl with a contagious smile. You are so sweet to look out for others and if someone is hurt or sick you really think about them a good bit and show genuine compassion. You love your new scooter but not as much as you love to watch cartoons. I bet if I let you watch continuously for a 24 hour period you could do it. Right now you love your pink cowgirl boots and if you aren't wearing those you have on your "running shoes" or white Keds but you think you can run and jump so fast in them.  You are still a chunkey-monkey and have just passed your sister in weight. At the doctor last week she was 45 1/4 pounds and you were 46. You are a pretty tough cookie and if you really cry I know that something is wrong. Everytime you wash your hands we have to sing the entire song, "We wash our hands to make them neat before we fix our tasty treat." Your bff is still.....and I bet always will be cousin Caroline. You have recently realized that maybe she has had the upper hand in this relationship the first few years and have been telling her, "You are not da boss of me!" You are the comic relief and can crack us up. I was trying to get on to you two the other day and you just kept saying, "Cheeerrrioossss" in a really deep voice and cracking Bibby and me up. I just made you a chart and if you get 10 checks you get a prize...but you have to sleep through the night to get them (you have been stalling at bed time and coming in our room at all hours). Daddy told you that you could not get up unless you had a fever, you threw-up or you had to potty. Well, the first time you came in our room you swore your throat hurt and you had a fever...the second time you needed to potty--you are one smart cookie. We could not be more blessed that God chose us as your parents. You make everyday better.
